Thanksgiving Today, Tomorrow, Every Moment and Forever!

Losers complain. Winners celebrate!

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6)

I. Thanksgiving is today!

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6)

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

II. Thanksgiving is tomorrow!

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6)

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matthew 6:33-34)

III. Thanksgiving is every moment!

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:20)

IV. Thanksgiving is forever!

According to “The New Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible”, there are two different meanings for the word amen. *

  1. Amen – “a term meaning “so be it.”
  2. Amen – “a title of Christ”; as found only in the following passage.

“And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” (Revelation 3:14)
