The Comforter Is Come

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: and ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.”

(John 15:26-27)

Introduction

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” (John 15:26)

“The Comforter is come!”
Jesus sent him “unto you from the Father!”

I. “The Comforter is come”, and he is “the Spirit of truth!”

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” (John 15:26)

II. “The Comforter is come”, and he “[comes] from the Father!”

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” (John 15:26)

III. “The Comforter is come”, and he is testifying of Jesus!

“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” (John 15:26)

Conclusion

“And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.” (John 15:27)

The Comforter is here, and you will also “bear witness!”
The Comforter is here, and you will bear witness “because ye have been with [Jesus] from the beginning.”
