Where is Jesus?

“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

(Isaiah 53:3)

Introduction: Where is Jesus?

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

I. Where is Jesus in your pulpit?

“A man of sorrows,” (Isaiah 53:3)

II. Where is Jesus in your prayer?

“And acquainted with grief:” (Isaiah 53:3)

“And open the door,” (Revelation 3:20)

III. Where is Jesus in your practice?

“And we hid as it were our faces from him;” (Isaiah 53:3)

“I will come in to him,” (Revelation 3:20)

IV. Where is Jesus in your people?

“He was despised,” (Isaiah 53:3)

“And will sup with him,” (Revelation 3:20)

V. Where is Jesus in your poor soul?

“And we esteemed him not.” (Isaiah 53:3)

“And he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)
