“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.”
(Proverbs 3:5-8)
Introduction: A passage of Scripture given to learn and to live.
I. Pray & listen to God’s Word! (Past)
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)
II. Pray & do what God’s Word tells you to do! (Today)
“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Proverbs 3:6)
III. Pray & let God’s Word guide you over anyone else’s word, a.k.a. advice! (New)
“Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.” (Proverbs 3:7)
IV. Then you’ll happily get his work done! (Vision)
